Katie Griffith is an actor based in New York City originally from Seattle, WA.

Katie has been performing professionally since she was a child and totally loves what she does.

Currently, Katie is in The Public Theatre’s Shakespeare In The Park production of The Winter’s Tale as Mopsa directed by Daniel Sullivan. Get tickets here.

This past year, Katie finished making her Broadway debut at The Palace Theatre in Beetlejuice: The Musical where she performed nightly in the ensemble and understudied the roles of Barbara, Delia, and Miss Argentina (and got to go on for all three!) Before that, she toured with the show across North America for a year and a half. Since then, she has performed in New York City Center’s Encores! production of High Spirits, understudying Rachel Dratch as Edith, and danced at the 2026 Met Gala. Previously, Katie has performed regionally The Muny, Pittsburgh CLO, Music Theatre Wichita, 5th Avenue, and more. She has starred in several new musicals, including Mercy Rider in Tony-winning Urinetown writers’ new musical ZM, Sweetie in The Tutor, and Sheila Nail in Joe Iconis’ Love in Hate Nation. Other favorite credits include #2 in The Wolves, Lorraine in 42nd Street, Betty Jean in The Marvelous Wonderettes and dancing in several productions of Emmy-winning choreographer Al Blackstone. She is a graduate of Penn State University’s BFA Musical Theatre program.

Outside of performing, Katie loves playing piano, making covers, teaching, and spending time with her large family. Katie is a dog-person.
